Notes
American photographer studio and publisher. Established by brothers Elmer and Bert Underwood in Ottawa, Kansas in 1882, originally specializing in stereographs. In 1891 they moved their main office to New York City. The Keystone View Compny was their main competitor and imitator. Underwood & Underwood ceased trading in the late 1940s.
