Notes
This is a view of the left hand painting next to the main altar in the chancel. The painting is attributed to Paolo Veronese, and finished by his sons. Signed “Eredi di Paolo,” this could refer to either Carletto or Gabriele Caliari (family name of Veronese). It is most likely Gabriele, given the style and quality of the painting as well as the dating of the altar. His father Paolo likely drafted the composition while the execution was entirely by Gabriele.
