Sancaktar Hayrettin Camii, Sancaktar Hayrettin Mosque
Image View Description:
Exterior: South Transept Elevation
ca. 14th century
It is believed that this mosque was formerly part of a monastery, however, tracing the origins of this particular site has not proved successful. It is known that it was converted into a mosque not long after the fall of Constantinople by Sancaktar Hayrettin under the reign of Mehmed II.
