One of the most magnificent council rooms; designed by Palladio and Rusconi, built by da Ponte. It was rebuilt in its present form after the 1574 fire. Woodwork and ceiling designed by Palladio, carried out by Fancesco Bello and Andrea Faentin, with ceiling paintings by Paolo Veronese.
