Claiborne Parish Courthouse; Homer, Louisiana, United States; SEE BACK; XII-H-1; A statue commemorating the Confederate Soldier stands before the antebellum CLAIBORNE PARISH COURTHOUSE in the North Louisiana town of Homer. Twenty alabaster Doric Columns surround the Greek Revival structure, built in 1860. The theme is repeated in miniature in the cupola atop the hip roof.
