SEE BACK; XI-ST. F.-12; Built in 1750, Parlange Plantation, facing False River, is listed as a National Historic Monument. The plantation remains in the ownership of the founding family and contains antiques and furnishings amassed by many generations of the Parlange family. Parlange Plantation is open to the public (9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily) and is located on La. 1, just south of the La. 78 intersection.
