Chretien Point; Sunset, Louisiana, United States; SEE BACK; V-S-1; Built in early 1800s by Hypolite Chretien. Reputedly a hangout for smugglers, including Lafitte and his lieutenants. Chretien is located approximately 3 miles southwest of Sunset, Louisiana, west on La. 182, south on La. 754 for 200 yards, then left on parish road for approximately 2 miles.; 24079
