SEE BACK; X-NR-3; The charm of Louisiana's French heritage is reflected in this Cajun cabin on the banks of False River (a cul-de-sac of the Mississippi, left behind by the meandering river prior to the levee system). Several historic homes are in the New Roads area, including Parlange Plantation, which is still owned and operated by the; original family.
