SEE BACK; X R 1; Built 1853-56 in the "steamboat Gothic" style, this huge and unusual mansion is a masterpiece of scrolls, fluted columns, wrought-iron grillwork and carved woodwork. Intricate frescoes adorn the ceilings, and the grand variety of antiques will interest even the uninterested.
