Notes:
This mosque was originally two churches linked by a chapel. The first church was begun by Eirene of Hungary. Upon her death, her husband John II Comnenus saw the construction of the second church, and later on the joining chapel. This site was later used as a monastery and served funerary purposes. It was converted into a mosque by Mehmed II in the 15th century.
