Gunduk Cave and Reliefs

Date: ca. 25th century BCE; the earliest relief might be from the Late Uruk Period (ca. 3000 BCE)

Notes: There are three reliefs carved on the western wall of the cave, two of which were seriously damaged after an explosion in 1994. These scenes show the hunting of a moutain goat, a banqueting scene, and the Sumerian goddess, Inanna, with a variety of animals.
