Notes
The Guariento Room is named for the fresco it now houses, which was painted by the Paduan artist Guariento for the Hall of the Great Council around 1365. It was almost completely destroyed in the 1577 fire, and the remains were rediscovered in 1903 underneath the large canvas of Tintoretto's Paradiso.
