Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere

Altemps Chapel was designed by Martino Longhi the Elder in 16th century, and has the Madonna of Mercy, 6th-7th century icon of madonna and child originally venerated in the streets of Trastevere. The frescos and stucco are by Pasquale Cati, dated to 1588
